About the Teacher

Hello, my name is Ebru. I was born in Istanbul and I live in Istanbul. I am someone who is in love with Turkish, so I studied Turkish Language Teaching. I taught in high schools. I have been giving Turkish lessons to foreigners for a long time. Because I love children, I studied and graduated from Karabük University - Child Development as my second university. I learned a lot about different cultures and different languages from my students. I love my profession very much and I make my students love Turkish. Traveling and meeting new people is the best experience for me.

We also teach lessons from the book with my adult students. Since Turkish is my area of expertise, I explain grammar from the slides I prepared. We do Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening in class. With some of my students, I only do dictation and speaking.

I have 8 years of experience. I worked in high schools for 3 years. I have been giving Turkish lessons to foreigners online for 5 years. Since I am both a Turkish Teacher and a Child Development Teacher, we get along very well with my little students and we learn while having fun. We teach my younger students using Turkish books appropriate to their age. I teach vocabulary with visuals. I give homework if the student requests. I prepare slides, presentations and quizzes. We play games in class, this way the lesson is more productive and fun.
