About the Teacher

Hi! My name is Ahmet, I'm from the UK, but I now live in beautiful Copenhagen, Denmark, and I would LOVE to help you learn English!

I have a TEFL qualification to teach English as a foreign language and have taught privately on and off for the last 2 years. I studied Spanish for my University degree and I am also currently learning Danish & Japanese (this is at a very basic level!), so I know how it feels to both learn and be taught a new language!

I recently left my HR job after 13 years to focus on my new career as an English Language teacher.

If you are looking to learn English either for work, travel or just for fun, I can help you start on that journey! Whether you're looking for help with Business English, general conversation practice or looking for get around with the basic, I can help.

On the personal side, I LOVE travelling, I am big foodie and love the outdoors. My favourite trip was this year when I visited Japan 😍🇯🇵 I also love writing - I am a published author and have been writing Fantasy & Sci-Fi books for several years.

I have a TEFL certification from the UK for teaching English as a Foreign Language.

I have taught English privately a little for the last couple of years, but am now focusing on it full-time as my brand new career!

I like to have a relaxed, fun environment when I teach - I prefer my students to be as relaxed as possible as I believe you get the most of learning when you are relaxed and comfortable :)
